Clayhouse Vineyard Adobe Red 2008

Adobe Red is a fun and tasty flavor fusion  of eight different grape varieties grown in 2008 throughout California’s Central Coast region known as Paso Robles.

The proprietary blend is characterized by ripe flavors of cherry, plum and vanilla bean, with rich spicy blueberry and cherry notes. The tannins are supple, and the balanced oak character adds additional vanilla notes.

Based on Zinfandel, this delectable, juicy red is the result of blending grape varieties and flavors grown throughout California’s Central Coast. The majority of the grapes came from the Red Cedar Vineyard, just east of the town of Paso Robles. Adobe Red’s eight grape varieties are: 40% Zinfandel, 17% Syrah, 13% Petite Sirah, 9% Malbec, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 6% Tempranillo and 3% Merlot.
